Turas is the Irish word for "trip" or "expedition," and embodies the way we like to tour. Certainly, we'll see plenty of the quintessential sights. But we'll also explore some of the "hidden" sites - stone circles tucked away in a farmer's field, high crosses marked only by a road sign, lonely glens where you never quite feel alone. This is what  can only be found by asking, "I wonder what's down that road?" and then finding out.

To facilitate these adventures, we've opted to limit our tour size to no more than eight adventurers (although we can plan a custom adventure for larger parties and special-interest itineraries). Because we require that our guides have traveled Ireland extensively, there are only a very limited number of seats available each year. 

We’ll travel the day away exploring Ireland’s charms, then take a day to really get to know one of Ireland’s beautiful, historic cities and towns before setting off on another adventure. For the more on-the-go types, optional day tours (at no extra fee) will be available to see even more sites.
